In an effort to preserve water quality in Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Blue BMPs TM is TRPA approved as follows:

Depending on the elevation of the driveway slab compared to the easement, a typical installation may have the channel either set to be parallel with the easement or the slab at a minimum 1% slope. The slope may be adjusted to accommodate a larger drainage capacity. If a proper grade and slope prevail, the channel may be set along either sides of a driveway. A series of drywells can provide added drainage.
The Tahoe Blue BMPs TM slotted channel drain can also be used whereever percolation trenches are called for. No more digging, cutting roots, harming foilage, eventual collapse, clogging, or undermining. Use the channel as the border for any man made surface. When necessary drywells are placed in series.
